Robert Ruttan is from Leslie, Michigan, south of Lansing, and has been racing about 5 years. He spent a lot of time at the track as a kid, and can’t remember a time when he wasn’t interested in racing. Robert’s uncle offered him a chance to drive a Mini Cups car. They built a car together, and the rest is history. Robert competes in the GLS Mini Cups with car #33. Racing may have to take a backseat temporarily if he enlists in the Army, but Robert would like to continue to compete whenever possible. When he isn’t racing, Robert works for a factory that manufactures and supplies car parts. He enjoys working on his race car, fishing, hunting, camping, playing football, and being outdoors.
