Jarrod Pritchett is from Sycamore, IL west of Chicago, and has been racing about 11 years. His brother was already a racer, and Jarrod, who liked to help his dad work on Elliott’s Kart, decided he wanted to race, too. At the age of 6, Jarrod started racing Go-Karts, and moved up to GLS Mini Cups at age 8. He added Sportsman class events this past year, and plans to compete in both Mini Cups with car #1, and Sportsman races next season. When he isn’t racing, Jarrod is a junior in high school, and is a member of the varsity golf team. His grandparents have a farm, and Jarrod is Treasurer of the club for Future Farmers of America. Jarrod loves to be outdoors, and would like to parlay his interest in agriculture into a future career with the Department of Natural Resources.
